Retired

After a three year run, I've finally come to the last quarter, final minutes, clocking ticking down in overtime. An exhale sigh of relief as we walk the court one last fast break for two major tradeshows. Our team was always considered the underdog but have finally risen to grab threepeat championships at CES Las Vegas, PMA in Orlando, and CeBit in Hannover with trendsetting graphics, cool swag, and sub-budget expectations. Stand proud boys (and Gal) we hit the mark and if we got championship rings we have to change our 'pound-fist' salute we normally give so we don't scratch the bling... I knew we could do it.

I can remember the first day, I presented the Logo. It was as if was getting scouted by recruits. My stats were impressive coming out of RISD, four years prior of freelance work... but I was a free agent, looking for a long term contract in PDP Systems. Sitting at a cube and getting into the grind was not my ideal choice of vocation, but when you got a baby mouth to feed you settle into the Matrix. I made the cut and had the outlook to see Patriot as the next big thang. That pipe dream was not going to be done alone. I had to jockey the field to see the opportunity of complete creative control and assemble the dream team... It started with Mena D.

Now we all know that nepotism runs rampant here. Shoot, I got my place b/c Garrett was my cousin's husband. Props to G!
