Everyday I take my little ones to school (by car) and one time my oldest asked to ride her bike to school. I said you can, once the weather starts warming up. I then was reminded of the time when I rode my bike to school. It was sense of freedom, a time to race around with buddies, and an uncharted mobility. However, some of my good friends who didn't have a bike were left behind or forced to walk. Back then we didn't have the pegs you can stand on. So you had to brave sitting on the front handle bars. Now it takes some skill to steer a bike with someone up there, and it takes a rider with a level of trust to perch on the front without losing balance and getting tossed in harms way. But I tell you, once you got that skill down it was good times after that. Which brings me to my survey. I don't share rides anymore to school, but I carpool once and awhile to work. How do you feel about carpooling? Let me know and take my survey.
